This tesselation system consists of interlocking parallelograms, each of which contains the entire seahorse shaped motif. To fill the plane, the motif has been translated (shifted) diagonally in both directions, as if it were on rails.The motif was then rotated 180 degrees about the centers of each of its four sides.
