He took a large ruby from a nearby chest and crunched it slowly between his teeth. “You know very we ll what the spontaneous generation of life entails... The vital force contained within air and water has a natural tendency to create life.... all types, from microorganisms to maggots! And your father has made it clear that you have complete control over this vital force.”
