The Road to Independence
This is a revolutionary simulation. You will act as the commander of the continental army. You will be responsible for managing troops, trading for supplies and money, and for coping with disasters. Be careful not to go in debt though. It will hurt you tremendously! Militia are superb defensively, calvary are swift, artillery are vital to a strong offense, and riflemen are a mix of these characteristics. Generals will amplify all of these traits.

To win this war, you must conquer five fictional cities, each city better defended than the previous. On the road to each city, you will encounter British expeditions, various disasters, and occasional beneficial events.

Along the way you will encounter a merchant that you may buy troops or sell troops to. Be aware though. He can be very tricky sometimes, and you might not always get a good deal. To buy troops, you enter the amount of money you want to spend and click the type of troop you want to buy. To sell troops, you enter the number you want to sell and click the type of troop you want to sell.

NOTE: On the first turn you need to buy at least one of each troop or your army will collapse. If you do not have at least one general, your army will not move anywhere. YOU MUST HAVE JAVASCRIPT ENABLED TO PLAY. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE JAVASCRIPT PLEASE CLICK THE CHARGE BUTTON TO GO TO THE COMMENTS PAGE.
