Pat is a single mother with three children. She became homless when her husband abandoned her and the relatives wanted nothing to do with them. Pat is currently employed, but the cost of living in the east prohibits her from having a place to call home. She is very conscientious about her work and her children's education and is not allowing their current situation to darken their future.
