Mark Twain

One famous novelist was Mark Twain. He wrote The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. His first book was The Innocents Abroad, which he wrote in 1869. The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which he wrote in 1884, gave a picture of the Mississippi valley, slavery and feuding. Twain enjoyed writing about boy heroes and the adventures and troubles they faced.
