Introduction
In America, there have been many types of literature written through the 1800's up to the 1900's. There have been dramas, novels, and many poems written by famous writers throughout this time period. During World War I Realism spread throughout the literature society. People's outlook on war influenced their writing; it began as very glorious and heroic, but changed to be very sad and gruesome.
