In the warm Egyptian climate heavy clothes were worn. There was no need for the wool socks or mittens. In fact, Egyptian superstition prevented the use of lambs' wool. The standard garment was white linen. The shoes, if we call them shoes, were made of papyrus and reed. They were simple sandals.
Men wore skirts down to the knees and had nothing covering the upper body. The kings and the gods had the similar clothing. A poor man was lucky to wear a skirt covering the pelvis. The rich Egyptians had an extra long outer garment, kind of a mantle or coat.
Women wore fitted sleeveless dresses with two broad suspenders. This was also the all-time standard clothing for the goddesses as well. The rich ladies had the mantle too. Shoulders and arms were covered with a sheer textile and muffs were used.
Children were naked.
