Robert and his friend Adam got together in November and started talking
about
how they could be a team in the Thinkquest competition and make an entry
on Java.
They didn't really follow up on the idea, and didn't think about it much
until their
technology teacher, Matt Gehrett, asked Robert if he would like to participate
in
Thinkquest again this year, and Robert replied in the affermitive and adding
that he
and Adam had been thinking about it for a while. Mr. Gehrett then told Robert
that
he was talking to Mr. Akashi, a teacher in Los Angeles who had another student,
Kien Lam, interested in the whole thing.
We all kept in touch with e-mail and spent the time until the summer
talking about
how we were going to put the whole thing together. Adam then dropped out
of touch
with the rest of us, and Mr. Gehrett had Thinkquest drop him from our team.
We
used the KHSD web server for space to put up the pages we made as we made
them,
and... the future will fill out the rest of this story.
