The 60's

It was a time of sit-ins, walk -outs, coffee houses, Laugh-In and hippies. It was a time of flower power and "make love not war" was the by-word. The fashion was colorful, as the flower children decorated everything brightly. At a time when protestors were discouraged and angry about the war in Viet Nam, clothing seemed to be the most cheery item in their world.

When the protestors and activists were ready to relax, party and celebrate amore natural lifestyle they went to WOODSTOCK and many of the fashion statements reflected that "free love" and flower child atmosphere.
