What's happening in... June

Drizzle
Duan Wu Jie
One of the Chinese traditional festivals celebrated by a majority of people in Singapore, Duan Wu Jie is linked closely to the dragon boat race. Singapore is also the host of the International Dragon Boat Race, so why not take a trip to Singapore River and look at those colourful boats skimming across the river, with the drummers setting the pace and the rowers shifting their paddles.
Cloudy & windy
School Vacation
Hurray! Arrival of the mid-year June vacation. This time, instead of the 1 week in March, you have a whole month ahead of you. What? So boring, don't know what to do? I'm organising another trip out. This time we are going to Little India, an area known to Singaporeans as the place of the Indians. After getting to know the Malays better, I think it is the Indian's turn to enrich us with their customs and practices.
