Warren Gamaliel Harding

Birth-Death: (1865 - 1923 ) Term: (1921-1923 )

The people of the United States were sick of wartime and worldwide involvement. They were also sick of Wilson and his stubborness in not compromising with the League of Nations. Harding's cry, "Return to Normalcy" was just wanted everyone wanted. They wanted to get back to normal life and end worldwide commitments. However, normal meant different things to different people and it wasn't hard for Harding to get people angry with him.
