Calvin Coolidge

Birth-Death: (1872 - 1933 ) Term: (1923-1929 )

When Calvin Coolidge became President, the Executive office was at a low point in history. Government waste and the materialistic values of the '20s had reached the Presidency. Coolidge, a man of few words, was perfectly suited for bringing back old fashioned morals and ethics. His role as President was to maintain the status quo, and do only what must be done.
