Who was George Bush ?

    George Bush was born in Massachusetts. At age 18, he enlisted in the Navy. As a fighter pilot, he flew during World War II. After the war, Bush went to college and graduated from Yale University. His next endeavor was oil in Texas. Bush entered politics as a member of the House of Representatives for Texas. He moved through various positions, including Ambassador to the United Nations and Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Before becoming President, Bush served as Vice President under Ronald Reagan.

    In many ways, Bush continued the ideals of President Reagan. Although successful on the foreign front, Bush was not able to deal with the domestic issues facing the nation at the same time.
