Who was John Adams ?
John Adams was born in Braintree, Massachusetts. His father was also named John Adams, his mother, Susanna Boylston Adams. He went to Harvard to study law. Adams played a pivotal part during the beginnings of the United States. He was a delegate of the First and Second Continental Congress, and a diplomat to France and Holland during the Revolutionary War. Before his presidency, he was Vice President under both terms of George Washington.
Adams' administration is remembered for its dealings with France.
