This is an interesting machine that Leonardo designed to make sequins.
Leonardo designed many different flying machines. This helicopter is perhaps the most interesting even though it would have never worked.
Even though Leonardo was against war, he designed a lot of machines for war purposes. This "machine gun" would have been slow by today's standards, but at the time it would have really been something.
This is a design for a giant crossbow. If it worked, it would be a very effective weapon due to its speed (maybe even better than a cannon).
