6 - With your paper
still safely put away, focus your negative on
the base board or easel. |

7 - Turn the timer
dial to the appropriate time setting
determined by the test strip. Set the timer
so that the light is off and only requires
you to press one button to start the timing
of the light. |

8 - With the timer
light OUT, place the paper on the easel.
Close the easel and make sure the paper is
centered properly. |

9 - Begin exposing
the paper and leave it in there until the
light goes out. Once that happens, remove the
paper and process it exactly how we did it in
making a contact
sheet. |

10 - After making
your print, you can determine if it needs to
be burned
or dodged.
