| Step
17 - After
the stop bath is complete, pour the stop bath
back into it's storage container, or pour out
the water. DO NOT REMOVE the tank cover yet. |

|
| Step 18
- Now fill the
tank with fixer. This process is about as
long as the developing process usually. About
2 to 4 minutes should be satisfactory. |

|
| Step 19
- Make sure to
agitate the fixer as you did with the
developer. |

|
| Step 20
- At the end of
the fixing step, remove the cover, and then
pour the fixer back into it's container. It
is now safe to take the cover off with the
lights on. The film is no longer sensitive to
light. |

|
| Step 21
- Rinse the film
off with cold water for about 30 seconds to
remove excess fixer. |

|
| Step 22
- Immerse the
film in the hypo clearing agentfor 1 to 2
minutes. To agitate the hypo solution, simply
rock the tank gently. Also gently turn the
reel to make sure the hypo clearing liquid
fully contacts all surfaces of the film. |

|
| Step 23
- Now place the
hypo clearing agent back in it's containre.
Gently remove the film from the container,
while leaving it still of the reel, rinse it
with cold running water for about 5 minutes. |

|
| Step 24
- Immerse the
film with the wetting agent now for about 30
seconds. |
