Just like the Sun, Jupiter is composed almost entirely of hydrogen and helium. It may be composed almost entirely of gasses and fluids with no solid surface. If there is a solid rocky surface, the solid diameter may actually be slightly larger than the Earth. Jupiter's internal structural almost certainly a sea of liquid metallic hydrogen that make up the bulk of Jupiter. Above the liquid metallic hydrogen is a transition zone leading to a layer of fluid molecular hydrogen.
