ATMOSPHERE

Atmospheric pressure on Venus is enormous about 90 times that of Earth's atmosphere. Also, Venus's atmosphere absorbs about 99 per cent of the sunlight that strikes the top of the clouds. The atmosphere is made up of the remainder. In Venusian clouds, some water vapour is present, combining chemically with traces of sulphur dioxide to produce droplets of sulphuric acid, which give the Venusian cloud cover its distinctive yellowish colour. The clouds are pushed by the winds with speeds of up to 200mph and circulate around the entire planet once every four days (of Earth).
