ATMOSPHERE

Like Venus, the Martian atmosphere is almost entirely composed of carbon dioxide with traces of nitrogen, argon, and oxygen. However, its density is less than one-one hundred of the Earth's. Differences between Earth's and Martian atmosphere are that Mars has distinct north, south weather patterns that cross the equator. It also has less cloud cover than Earth, but the cloud types are similar. Winds that are raised as a result of atmospheric circulation and seasonal or daily temperature fluctuation can cause huge dust storms.
