CIRCULAR MOTION

When a body or satellite travels with circular motion, its velocity is constantly changing or accelerating.

This is called the 'Centripetal Acceleration'.

Centripetal acceleration - a = v ² / r

Because of centripetal acceleration, the body must experience centripetal force

Since F = m a

Centripetal force - F = m * v ² / r

or F = m v ² / r
