Physical Characteristics
Wart hogs have enormous head and a long hairless body. Their body is gray with wrinkled skin. They have manes on their neck and back. They have long legs, tusks, and a long snout that gives them a good sense of smell. They have eyes on the top of their heads but very poor eyesight. They also have long legs that can carry them up to 30 mph. The males can be recognized as a pig with warts.

Habitat, Daily Life and Feeding
Wart hogs live in savannas, plains, and open woodland areas. They eat mainly grass although sometimes other vegetables if available. The wart hog has two foot-tusks that can be useful for protection. They also have the lower canines that are the most dangerous. Warthogs live in packs of females and young. Males sometimes join during mating season.
