The Food Database is an excellent way to examine your diet and plan
nutritious changes in the way you eat. We've provided a set of tools
to interact with the database:
- The Food Counter lets you count up your
last meal or day's worth of meals and see how they compare with what you
should be eating. Just type in the foods, select the correct serving
sizes and number of servings, and it adds 'em up!
- If you want to plan your next meal, the Food Planner
is an excellent way to experiment with various food choices. Add and remove foods to a
scratchpad while keeping a running total of the nutritional value of everything you've
- If you're only looking for a specific food's nutritional information,
Search the Database for it.
- Add a Food to the Database so everyone can use that food
in the Food Counter and the Food Planner.
