
You are now looking at four images that represent small versions of each of the four quadrants that make up Mars; for easy reference, they begin on the left with quadrant I in the west and end on the right with quadrant IV in the east. As you browse around, remember from the Mars Map Information that these individual quadrants are like the strips on a map that are folded together to form an accurate picture of the surface.
To select a quadrant to explore, simply click on its image and you will be taken to an enlarged version that allows you to pick a location from which you can actually start your exploration.
