Pollution
Environmental pollution is
a serious problem facing us today. The air is being filled with
gases and smoke, water is being poisoned with chemicals and
the soil is being damaged with fertilizers and pesticides. These
things are damaging our environment, our ozone layer, and our
atmosphere. Acid rain is a collection of condensed harmful
gases that can kill plants and animals. Our ozone layer can be
damaged by CFCs that are in aerosol cans, refrigerator coolants, and
many other things. Pollution can be reduced in many ways. We need
to find alternate energy sources and have governments enforce
laws to stop polluting activities.
