The Earth is a huge sphere
covered with rock, water, soil, and surrounded by air. It is the only
planet in the Solar System that is able to sustain life, as we know it.
We can live on the Earth because it is just the right distance
from the Sun, and has all the necessary elements for our survival.
However, we are rapidly depleting our supply of necessary elements, which
will eventually lead to our extinction. We need to do all we can to
assure our continued existence on this planet.
