Types of Scientists and Mathematicians

 

 Astronaut (Español: Astronaunta)- Is a person who pilots a spacecraft or works in space. They operate the spacecraft, space stations, launch, recapture satellites, conduct engineering, medical, and scientific experiments in space. Most astronauts live and train at the NASA at the Lyndon B. Johnson Space center in Houston. There two types of astronauts that NASA picks for there space flights. One is a pilot astronaut they command and pilot the spacecraft. The other one is a mission specialist they work with the pilot astronauts so they can maintain the spacecraft and its equipment, they also conduct experiments, launch satellites, and perform space walks. There is also a third kind of astronaut they are called payload specialists there job is to carry out scientific experiments connected with the cargo on the spacecraft. A Cosmonaut is the same thing as a astronaut but they work in Russia, and the former Soviet Republics. They work for CIS (Common wealth of independent states.)
Anatomy- study of the structure of a living organism. Anatomists also study the parts of an organism, and how they are related.

Bacteriology (Español: Bacteriología) - study of bacteria.

Biology (Español: Biología)- study of living organisms. They study the parts of a living organisms and how they work together.

Comparative Anatomy (Español: Anatomía Comparativo) - the study of differences and the similarities in the body structures of different animals, they also compare the circulatory systems.

Ecology (Español: ?) - study of a relationship between organisms to their environment. This helps us to manage the limited resources of the earth harming any plants or animal populations.

Embryologists (Español: Embriólogo) - study of development and formation of animals and plants before they become a independent organism.

Entomology (Español: ?) - is the study of insects, the largest group of animals.

Genetics (Español: Genética)- is the study of heredity. Characteristics that been passed by parents to their young. This is also important because it helps us understand human diseases and breeding.

Mammalogy (Español: ?) - is the study of animals with hair, and the ones whose babies feed on thier mothers milk.

Morphology (Español: Morfología)- is the study of the form and the structure of plants. They also study the cells and the tissues that make up the plants internal structures.

Paleontology (Español: ?) - the study of prehistoric organisms.

Taxonomy (Español: Taxonomía) - the study of naming and classifying animals. They get to know different animal groups.
