Both Shaun and Gabby are from North Kitsap High School in Poulsbo, Washington. At North Kitsap High School all of the students have access to the internet and the number of users is increasing. The internet there ca be accessed on either a PC or Mac platform. There are about 1300 students that attend the High School. Most of the students are caucasian with about 17% being minorities. Most of the minority students are Native American. The community is rural with most of the residents being Scandinavian.

Nicole is from Castleberry Senior High School in Ft. Worth, Texas. At Castleberry High School there is no internet access yet but they are working on getting it available. There are about 1500 students that attend the High School. About 50% are caucasian and about 50% are hispanic, there is also a small number of African American students. The school is in a small town consisting mostly of middle class working families.
