What do you think first time bike buyers should look for? |
"Number one: proper fit. Then proper style: mountain, road, hybrid, or bmx. Thirdly, high quality. Good quality...bike shop brands with high quality frmaes, wheels, and parts. |

What is a good average price? |
Somewhere in the $200 range. Below that you start compromising quality. [My best selling bike] is the Trek 820 for $299. |

How many bikes do you work on in a week? |
About 40, mainly mountain bikes. [Usually] just servicing: gears/brakes/wheels. |

Why do you bike? |
Fun and Freedom. |

And why did you open a bike shop? |
Because its basically a hobby turned business. |

What was your first bike? |
Ohhh. (smile) Scwhinn Jaguar, mark IV. |

What advice would you give to a rider? |
Wear your helmet. No matter where or when, always wear your helmet. |

Where you see bicycling going? the future of bikes? |
Legitimate. It will turn from recreation to legitimate means of transportation. |
