Grapefruit Diet

This diet is based on the concept that grapefruits contain a magic component that, when eaten with proteins such as meat and eggs, causes calorie burning and weight loss. It typically lasts for 10 to 12 days.

It involves the consumption of grapefruit or grapefruit juice with each meal, along with a reduction in calorie intake. One is to drink approximately 8 glasses of water daily, ad is permitted to consume unlimited amounts of black coffee. It is recommended for one to eat more vegetables and avoid most complex carbohydrates and snacking in-between meals.

This diet consists of very low total calorie content. It could, in some cases, be insufficient for daily nutrition. Some negative effects of this diet include dizziness and upset stomachs.

Cookie Diet
This diet involves the consumption of a specially tailored cookie recipe and a specific dinner menu of lean meat choices. The cookies are to be eaten whenever the dieter feels hungry, not as a part of their breakfast, lunch or dinner. They are to eat up to 6 cookies a day, and the cookies and dinner are to add up to 800 calories.
