Ants on Activity Day
Do you know we celebrated an Activity day at Gym in our school?
Activity day was full of activities and we got a chance to convey our message to people. Before the activity day, we all worked day and night in designing the brochures, making our masks, making banners etc. We thought that we would not be able to accomplish the given task but the Activity day turned out to be a success.
Firstly we all arrived before the given time and then dressed up as ants. Then we met many visitors and told them about the characteristics of ants. We also gave them the brochure we had designed to inform about the role of ants in society and what can we learn from them?
As expected we learnt a lot from the people we met, as well. In the end we used podium and mic to tell the audience about the special qualities of ants in more detail. I would just say that it was no doubt a great experience.

It was really fun dressing like an ant.We went to people and gave them brochures.We had alot of fun.

Becoming an ant on the activity day was certainly a great pleasure. The excitement of becoming an ant mascot was that which was really immense. By doing this I myself thought that ants were personified and turned into people. It was as if I had extended my hand in friendship with the ants by being an ant mascot. It was also queer because if a person suddenly starts respecting a someone ,and becomes a mascot for that someone whom he/she previously thought of as "nobody", it does feel wierd but its a nice type of awkwardness which is enjoyable and same was the case with me.

i had a lot of fun in dressed up as an ant , telling people about ourselves and their views about ants...many people thought that ants are creatures of god and we should learn from them.....this was very encouraging for us and i think that we really created awareness among many people which is again a positive sign for us...
