How Ants live in Community?

The soldier guards its nest, but how does it recognize the intruders? It has no machinery to help it, or a technical security system. Every ant colony has its own odor, and the soldier has a big head with antennaes to help it smell the odor therefore when an ant from its own colony comes the soldier smells its odor, and as it is the colony odor the soldier would let that ant in, but if an intruder would come, the soldier would smell its odor, and as it won't be its colony odor, the soldier will kill that ant hence it is caught red handed .

 We usually communicate by using pheromones. This is a chemical released by an animal and it causes a response when other animals detect it ususlly the same specie. Just like other insects we also recognize this pheromone's smell by our antennae . Most of us live on soil  hence  we often leave the pheromone on the soil.This enables us to make a food trail which the other ants can follow detecting the smell, now the mystery is solved how we are usually going on the same track when taking the food to our colony . Once  we have collected all the food we need the smell gradually fades away. This pheromone not only helps us to make a food trail but even when an ant is in danger we can leave the pheromone scent and so other ants willl be attracted and will in a group come to save the ant who is in danger.We can even confuse our enemy by using propoganda pheromone.Propoganda means half truth and will hence make the enemy fight amongst themselves.This is exactly how we determine are queen . The queen is supposed to produce a specific kind of pheromone and if the queen stops producing it then we have to chose another queen.
