Welcome to the Anteland

The president of the Royal Ant society sat in her gold plated seat, looking intently at the pile of filed concerns by the locals. Her eyes widened in alarm, as she skimmed through them. The heap was not only thrice the size it usually was, but they all pivoted around the same grave concern! Suddenly the phone rang! It was vice president Gregory on line… 

“Good morning, Ms. President, I find it my duty to inform you of the sudden increase in death rate of ant locals. Never before have the numbers reached to such an extent. The ants are refusing to go to work if the situation prevails. Immediate actions are requisite to save our species. Sir, it’s high time we confronted the humans, for I’m afraid the situation might worsen if not taken care of.” 

“Thank you, for informing me. I’ll certainly do whatever that is in my power to bring the situation under control” After saying this, President Ant placed the phone down, and rubbed her forehead in anxiety and fear, both at the same time…

A day after that the pile of concerns kept growing, and they were yet again all due to the same cause which was "Humans Crushing Ants"  (HCA). All the politicians of the Royal Ant Society sat together the next day, and thought of solutions to solve this problem. The vice president suggested that before taking any big decisions, Ms.President should contact presidents of other colonies, and ask them whether they are facing the same issue or not. Everyone agreed so this was done. It was quite a shocker for the president to know that every colony president she called, was facing the same problem as the Royal Ant Society was facing. So Ms.President thought that perhaps she could take some suggestions from the ants of her colony before meeting the other presidents. So a suggestion box was made where all the ants could put their written suggestions into. 

By the next week, the suggestion box was full. 40% of the suggestions were to have a war against humans, 40% said that we should only try to run away from humans as they are stubborn and negotiating with them won't matter, 19.99% said that we should disturb them by steeling victuals which are useful for them, but wait what did this 0.1 % say??? This 0.1% was only one ant who suggested that five ant representatives should go to the humans, and negotiate with them, and tell them about the disasters they are creating for us. That ant's suggestion was chosen by the president, and she said that it would be discussed with other colonies too.

  In only a fortnight Ms.President had contacted all the Ant Presidents of the world. She had told them all that a meeting was to be held in the Anterations (the school of ants) as that was the centre point, and ants could be able to reach there safely. They all reached there quicker than it was expected. They all sat and introduced themselves.                                                               

Just imagine all sorts of ants seated together, of various species. Cool..... Anyway Ms.President told them about the suggestion given by the ant from her colony which was about sending five ant representatives to negotiate with the humans. They all agreed, but were not able to decide who those ant representatives would be. All the ant presidents then called one ant each from their colony respectively, and then on the basis of language, communication and skill began to short list the final five.

Finally after a long wait, the five ant representatives were selected, and they were quite determined to resolve this issue, and bring about peace between humans and ants. The five 'chosen ones' were rigorously trained, and efficiently equipped with the required skills; to what extent may the efforts prove successful, that only time will tell... The ants have tried their level best to convince you humans, and make you realize regarding our significance... So there you go,this is how they were sent to you to raise the white flag of peace between humans and ants... And we hope with every fiber of our being that by the time you are through with reading what our representatives have to tell you, you will be cautious about safe guarding our rights, for all the services we have rendered mother nature.
