How Important Exercise Is
Have you ever thought about how many calories you get a day? People in Kentucky are getting obese because they take in more calories than they need. People in Kentucky can do many things to lose weight especially exercising. When you watch tv you can also do some exercises. People think they don't have any time for exercising but they can do two things at a time. Below is a list of exercises you can do.
Ride a bike or use a bike exercise machine
Of course you ride a bike outdoors and use the exercise machine inside. One thing about the exercise machine is that you can watch TV, read a book, or listen to music.
Take a walk
This is an outdoor exercise but you can do it indoors. You can walk at the mall or walk in place at home watching TV, reading a book, or playing your favorite video game. To make it fun, walk with your pet, or ask a friend or family member to walk with you.
Most sports are outdoors like soccer, football, and softball but some are indoors like racket ball, ping-pong, and gymnastics. Some sports are indoor and outdoor: tennis, basketball, volleyball, and soccer.
Swimming is an indoor/outdoor exercise. You can go to many places to swim like the YMCA, rivers, lakes, ponds, and public swimming pools. Be sure you are with an adult that knows how to swim. Do not go swimming by yourself.
Hiking is fun to do in the city, state, or national parks, forests, mountains, or on the beach. You need to be with an adult.
