Project background:
There was a legend,Liuzhou was a place where a famous song fairy Liu Sanjie rode a fish to the heaven.In order to remember her,Liuzhou people had been singing her songs for generation to generation.People sing about inherit history, impart knowledge, custom etiquette, propagandize politics, makie friends and enjoyment.However,Liuzhou folk songs had been taught by folk singers.These singers don’t have system and standard teaching all the time.Now,Liuzhou folk songs are facing to the status of singers aging,no people can sing and inherit,reduce of audience.In order to let more students to experience the original charm of traditional cultural Liuzhou folk songs, truly understand hometown national culture,and then explore how to improve the dilemma by their own thinking.At the same time, cultivate students to love their hometown,learn singing folk songs,carry forward the feeling of hometown culture.Finally, we agreed and decided Safeguard of the Intangible Cultural Heritage-Liuzhou Folk Songs for our research subject.
Activity goal:
1.emotion aim: Let students understand Liuzhou folk songs, get the pleasure of creating folks. Through this activity,raises the students’ love to hometown culture,even arouse students’intense emotion of thinking about how to carry forward our national culture.
2.ability aims:
a.Express their feelings with words,pictures,songs,and exchange their learning experiences with network platform. Cultivate students' creativity.
b.Raises students' abilities of collecting information by multi-channel and comprehensive practice abilities.
c.Practice students' courage with communication,discussion and design forms of activitities,Also train the students to think problems by themselves, solve problems by unity cooperation.
3.Knowledge goal:
a.Know the cultural background and historical position of hometown folk songs,and experience the "original" charm of traditional culture.
b. Let students know the status of Liuzhou folk song’s singers aging,no people can sing and inherit,reduce of audience.

Activity process:
The first stage: communicate and consult,then decide the subject.(Semptember,2010)
The second stage: Establish outline and divide different work.(October,2010)
The third stage: Survey and practice according to the plan.(November,2010-January,2011)
The fourth stage: inherit culture,do the practical action. (February,2011)
First：Lead to discussion according to their collecting information-What we can do for the dilemma of Liuzhou folk songs.
Second: Lead students to act for protection Liuzhou folk songs. The fifth stage: Exchange and show,report results. (March,2011-April,2011)
The sixth stage: Evaluation and recognition.(April,2011)

The project's essential Problem, Question or Issue
What is original ecological Liuzhou folk song?Liuzhou folk songs were so famous in the past,why are only the old man singing now?As little liuzhou people, how should we protect and inherit the culture of Liuzhou folk songs?
