Manufacture of Bio Ethanol

Algae need to be grown in a ratio of 1:10 of water. If we would like to breed them in a huge scale, we can put them in an acrylic bio reactor to help every algae to photosynthesize. Acrylic bioreactor can save place and help the algae to photosynthesis optimally. If only in a little scale, we can only breed them in a transparent plastic bottle that filled by water but for information, to plant algae we must put them in uncontaminated water which mean in the absence of bacteria and harmful chemical substances. Algae will rapidly reproduce and we can harvest them in 7-15 days. They will turn into reddish-green color if they are ready to be harvested. There are 4 steps to transform them into bio-ethanol.
Here are the steps:
1. Evaporate the Algae for 5 minutes. So, the water particle will be evaporated.
2. When it cools down, add Yeast ( Sacharomyces cereviceae) to break down the carbohydrates into glucose.
3. Then, enhance a little portion of wheat to help the fermentation and it goes for 3 days.
When the fermentation is over, it will change into a liquid similar with wine with 5% of alcohol.
4. Finally, add alfa amylase enzyme that convert glucose into alcohol. At last, it will become about 20-30% of bio-ethanol (Trubusid 2008).

When the bio ethanol used to obtain energy, ethanol will react with oxygen gas to produce carbon dioxide, water and heat.
