Finland - Correlation of Employment to Health
Finland
This study differs from the other two only slightly. The poor and the rich are not compared; Instead, the unemployed and the employed are compared. The results were very different from the other surveys. It turned out that a better gauge of nutritional health is level of education. The people with a higher education tended to follow the modern dietary guides well, and they also seemed to eat more fruits and vegetables than the persons with lower level educations. These differences, however, are very slight, and nothing like the ones found when comparing poverty stricken people and non-poverty stricken people.
