Teen Suicide

Teen suicide is not common, but is more common in teens than in any other group. Adolescence is a time of turmoil, and many deal with their conflicting emotions in destructive ways. Vandalism, drugs, early sex, are all ways of expressing anger at the world. Some teens, however, kill themselves. The depressed person sees no way out of what seems to be an impossible situation. Suicide is the second leading cause of death among teens.
