Food Poisoning

Food poisoning comes from eating food contaminated by bacteria. Many times these bacteria cannot be seen, smelled, or tasted. There are many types of food poisoning. Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, Clostridium perfringensm, and Clostridium botulinum. You may not realize when you have food borne illness because many of the symptoms are similar to flu symptoms. Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, and body aches are common effects of food illness. People get over these symptoms in a few days, but some forms can be fatal, like botulism.
