Reconstructed Huts of the Continental Army at Valley Forge

Reconstructed huts of the Commander in Chief's Guard. The guards lived in huts near the headquarters. In the beginning George Washington had 50 guards, but the number soon increased. To be a guard you had to be a property owning, native born Virginian male. Officers thought they would be most loyal to Washington.
