Virtual Tour

The Arroyo Del Valle Creek has a beautiful environment that we at Amador are able to enjoy. To enable people around the world to enjoy this environment as well, we have created two 3D movies with Quicktime VR from Apple. These movies put the user in the environment, allowing the user to navigate a full 360 degrees. Below, you will find two Quicktime VR movie files. One is of the upper half of the creek, near the Main Street bridge, while the other is the lower half of the creek near the train trussel.

To view the Quicktime VR Tour, you need to download the Quicktime VR Player from Apple. Another option is to download the QTVR Plugin which would allow you view it in Netscape.

Once the Plug-in or Player has been installed on your hard drive, click on the tour you wish to view. If you are planning to view a movie with the Quicktime VR Player, you must change to "No Correction" in the "QTVR" menu bar; otherwise, the movie will look distorted.

Note: As of today, the server is not configured correctly to automatically view the Quicktime VR movies. To view these, right click (click and hold on Macs) on the movie you wish to view choosing save as and then selecting "source" (not text). Then open up the Quicktime VR Player and open the file from there. Sorry for the inconvenience.
