Site #9

At site nine the width of the creek narrows and the rate of flow increases. The increased rate of flow combined with the shallower water tends to raise DO. The creek bed is composed of primarily small river stones and large gravel. This site provides an ideal location for collecting aquatic organisms with the kick net. The south bank is protected by rip rock and the north bank has a eucalyptus tree and an abundance of rushes and bunch grasses.
