Site #14 The deep pool that is found at site 13 quickly gives way to shallow water and a narrower creek channel. Site 14 is characterized by swift flowing water through a narrow creek channel lined with large rocks. The waters edge is easily accessed due to the absence of bamboo and euclayptus. This site provides an ideal location for collecting aquatic organisms with the kick net. Many other very intersting areas exist below site 14. Due to limited time (class period=55 minutes) we need to restrict the area to be studied so that adequate time is available to collect samples and still return to Amador before the next class period. Plans for a field trip day to sample other regions of the Arroyo DelValle are being explored.
