At site eight the creek is still comparitively wide compared to other sites in the study area. Bull rushes have established themselves in the center of the site. The depth of the water decreases rapidly as you move from site seven into site eight and on into site 9. A very steep bank on the north side makes acess to the creek for smapling difficult. The south bank is protected by rip rock.
