Considering that the Arroyo Del Valle is flanked on both sides by houses and buisnesses, our creek is blessed with a relative abundance of wildlife. Working with outdated field guides has made the task of identifying the many species of herbs and invertebrates a major challenge. Succession and migratory organisms make the job that much more difficult. We have been relatively successful in identifying most of the trees, shrubs, and vertebrates. Below are links that will take you to some of the different groups of organisms that inhabit our creek.

Note: On the following pages, the locations in which these organisms have been found are not currently complete. As this is an ongoing project, as data is collected, the pages will be more completed.
