The Intruder is a medium attack aircraft widely used in Vietnam for jungle-clearing bombing missions. It is a two seat, twin-engine aircraft with a top speed of 648 mph and a range of over 2,700 miles. It can carry up to 18,000 pounds of nuclear or conventional weapons.

<McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom

The Phantom's use in Vietnam was very widespread; in fact, it became very relied upon by the Air Force, the Navy, and the Marine Corps. It is a capable fighter that can perform some ground strike roles. It can attack surface-to-air missile bases and radar installations. Its twin turbojets can propel it at 1,464 mph. It has a range of 2,300 miles.

Boeing B-52 Stratofortress>

The B-52 is a massive bomber. It is 161 feet long at must be powered by eight turbofans. Its role in Vietnam was carpet bombing of jungle locations. It has a range of 10,145 miles and a speed of 595 miles per hour. It can carry up to 60,000 pounds of nuclear or conventional bombs, cruise missiles, or a combination of these.
