Tower Zimbabwe
The Kingdom of Zimbabwe civilization was built around ad 800 and was located between the Zimbabwe and Limpopo rivers in Southeastern Africa, for the purpose of gold and ivory trade. The Great Zimbabwe is the tower built under the order of the king somewhere in the early 1400s. "Zimbabwe" is derived from Bantu for "stone enclosure" and today the ruins of the Great Zimbabwe, at least the towers, have 32 foot walls that were about 17 feet thick.
