Normandy

Normandy is presently known as an agricultural region supportive of the dairy industry. It is bordering the English Channel and since about 911 has been in the hands of many different countries, such as England, France, and Viking leaders. It is currently in French hands, with the Channel Islands (formerly part of Normandy) in English possession.
