Dead Sea Scrolls

The Dead Sea Scrolls were found in caves near the shores of the Dead Sea. They are ancient manuscripts that contain most of the books of the Bible’s Old Testament, parts of the Greek Septuagint, and parts of the Book of Job.

The Scrolls were found by a shepherd boy who threw a rock into a cave. There was a crash, and he found the first of the Scrolls. More scrolls were found in 10 other caves. The Dead Sea Scrolls are written in many languages including Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic.
