Undergraduate Admission
Tomlinson Hall RM:227
Q. What is campus life like here?
A. Our students are very active, and there are many intramural sports and art museums nearby. Also, little Italy and downtown are very popular.
Q. What separates this college from the rest of the pack?
A. We don't do comparisons, but we do have 60 undergraduate programs, and law and medicine schools.
Q. What is your policy on non-Asian minorities?
A. We have certain students whom we have distinguished as being minority and there are special scholarships available to them. There are no caps on Asians or anyone else.
Q. There are many things it takes to get into a top-notch school, such as SAT/other standardized test scores, grades/GPA, participation in sports, leadership activities/extracurriculars, and difficulty of classes taken in high school. Is there any kind of ranking order that these could be put in?
A. There is no ranking order, but what we look at are the difficulty level of courses taken, the SAT and ACT scores, and the extracurricular activities and leadership demonstrated. Another thing we look at is level of interest the student demonstrates in Case Western. We look to see if they are on our mailing list, if they have met with an admissions officer, and things like that.
